Participants practice situational awareness, target identification, and shoot/don’t-shoot judgment across scenarios with varied visibility and difficulty.

Each scenario will conclude with instructor feedback and a debrief of participants’ decisions.

Learn civilian CQB fundamentals for home defense, including movement into and out of rooms, use of cover and concealment and limiting unnecessary exposure to threats.  

This is an excellent option to sharpen and maintain what you learned in our full-day Home Defense Close Quarters Battle (CQB) course, or to get a focused "starter dose" of these skills in a shorter session.  

Learn safe movement through confined spaces, room-to-room navigation, partner communication, cover and concealment, hazard recognition and relevant Utah law through instructor guided training, dry practice and low risk drills.

Our Level 3 Home Defense and CQB Academy is focused on situational awareness, target identification and responsible decision making with shoot/no-shoot scenarios within a controlled environment.  Participants will review the necessary fundamental concepts of safe firearms handling within a team environment, along with how to distinguish threats from non-threats in varied light and visibility conditions.
